New Christmas illustrations from my portfolio
Hi all! As I have not written here for a long time, I want to fix this. Recently, I have paid very little attention to developing my English and that seems to be affecting what you are reading now. Already for more than one month, I live alone now.
My wife with son will be back home only for Christmas. I am taking advantage of the free time and I have been busy drawing and painting!
How great it is – do something that is good for the soul! And drawing pencil is this contributes. Also at the weekend gradually completed oil paint a portrait of my wife in her wedding dress. When the portrait is ready, I will publish it here on the blog.
I talked recently with one of my good friends who told me that my sketches would look good in a vector format, and advised me to start using Adobe Illustrator, so I did. You know, it is so fascinating that you would not even want to take a break. I especially like creating cartoon characters from different topics. In this way, I created a small portfolio, which you can view by clicking on the links below.
In addition, if you want to buy any of my works on IStock.com and you doesn’t already have an iStock account, then received a special invitation from me as a friend and you’ll get a $3 gift an account. To do this, contact me on About page, using the contact form. In the message just enter your First name, Last name and email. To your email address I’ll send you an invitation.
In some my illustrations I created cartoon character of my son and wife, like this.
The little boy says goodbye to Santa Claus!
Initially, the boy was supposed to lend a hand to Christmas tree ball, but at the last moment, already using Adobe Illustrator, I decided that Santa should be on background.
What is the most important thing in a sketch? It should be allowing the audience to bring their own imaginations to the table, and conveying my intent. It is necessary to have the viewer’s imagination work for itself. Imagination has always worked to make us think, dream, and remember pleasant moments from our lives. I try to adhere to these principles in my work and follow them always!
And for dessert, again free vector cliparts!
One of my illustrations are not accepted at the Istock:
«We did not find this file suitable as stock. With the rapid growth of the iStock collection, we give valuable consideration to each file but unfortunately cannot accept all submissions»,
so I publish it for free! You can download free images from the catalog of Art-workroom.
New Year vector background with snowflakes I drew in my free time especially for my blog readers.
Have a great Christmas Eve, everyone!
